Play Half-Life on your iPod... sorta

If you've managed to get the iPod (Linux) compatible version of Doom running, then here's a little extra treat for you. A forum member of iPodLinux.org has compiled a list of iPod Doom compatible ".WAD" files. These files basically amount to a user-created total conversion that's playable under the iPod Doom engine. The compilation links to files on a GP32x site, so if you happen to own a GP2X you'll also be able to tag along. The ".WAD" files shown include Doom-like versions of Half-Life, Goldeneye and Heretic. If you're hesitant about hacking your iPod just so you can play Doom on the bus, check out this video of the game in action on an iPod nano.
