Since its 1996 debut, the Tamagotchi virtual pet series has sold over 40 million units. In case you missed it, the simulation game hit the DS with the launch of Namco Bandai's new Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop. Punch Jump writes: "The simulation allows owners to open and run their own boutique stores... The goal of the game is to set up a shop that will be the favorite of Princess Tamako. Players can set up a bakery, beauty salon, dental office, flower shop, and more."
