A Korean startup has built the country's first robot capable of running, the two-foot-tall, network-controlled RX. The bot is capable at hoofing it at a pace of about .3 mph, certainly no match for ASIMO's brisk 1.8 mph. The company behind the bot, Robotis, spent an estimated $1 million jointly developing it with Samsung and Korea's Ministry for Information and Communication. Korea's plans for an army of network-controlled worker bots in the future.
