Here's an old school Kloss-looking box, the Evergreen's MusicBaby DN-MPS100, which is not much more than a couple of speakers, a couple of knobs, an aux-in, and a USB port for playing audio off your mass-storage compliant USB device. This one goes for about $67 US, and will play with more than one kind of device.
