Sonoric Synth

This is the Sonoric Synth, a new and as yet unseen synth from Holland, which might possibly surface at the vast MusikMesse trade show in Germany at the end of this month.

The interesting thing is how it works. Sonoric claim that their synth contains “analogue synthesizer circuits… with the ability to program and re-program these circuits in any configuration we want”. A company called Anadigm produce programmable analog chips, which can build different analog circuits by changing how the transistors connect together. If these is what Sonoric are using, then the Sonoric Synth could be really interesting.
