Samsung's new 56" HL-S5679W DLP rear projector tv utilizes LED's instead of the old DLP bulbs that burn out and cost too much to implement. The new LED's are similar in that they'll be the red, green, blue format, giving the HL-S5679W only 7-seconds to start up. LED's are suspected to have a 20,000 hour lamp life. The DLP set is full 1920 x 1080 progressive, allowing for dual 1080p inputs, which is good cause the PS3 has dual outs. Samsung says it can handle 1080p signals and is scheduled for sale in April around $4,200.
