The Scout Import Company makes unique handbags and accessories of crocodile skins (in accordance with the Convention on the International Trade of Species) from Central America. The bags have suede linings and come in two styles, a baguette, called the Granada, and an envelope, called the Telica. There is also a card wallet and three sizes of bracelets. The simple styles highlight the beauty of the crocodile and the products are available in a wide variety of styles. The bag shown here, the Granada, in ginger, sells for $630 and 10% of the profits go to social development programs for the poor in each country that the goods come from.
