The webspace for We Love Katamari will close in 3 days, according to the countdown introducing the site. While the upcoming Me and My Katamari game supposedly marks the end of the series, 1UP believes this "closure" could be signs of an impending announcement concerning--you guessed it--more King of Cosmos! Note their reasoning:

* The last time the Katamari website was closed, it reopened soon after to introduce We Love Katamari.
* The site's closure--Friday, March 17--is the day before "all the new Japanese game magazines hit newsstands."
* March 18th also marks the 2-year anniversary of the release of the original Katamari Damacy in Japan...could the site reopen in celebration?

A new Katamari sequel, in honor of its amazing 2-year run, is not out of the question--even without the consent of series creator (who has stated on record that he plans to now move on and design children's playgrounds). One thing is for sure--a new Katamari game for PlayStation 3 would be really good news for the currently-embattled Sony.
