The 9th Robo-One competition held March 18, 2006, had a robot named King Kizer, developed by the Maru Family from Osaka, demonstrating its ability to jump rope and to track and hit opponents. King Kizer is one of the best robot competitors in Japan and usually places among the top in the Robo-One, Robo-Fight, and Robo-Gong competitions.
